Unfortunately I wanted to write a good review, but now I have to change it. I came a month or two ago to get my teeth cleaned. (I got dental insurance finally and figured I should take care of myself.) During my appointment I was told I have cavities that need fillings on both sides of my mouth. I wasnt having any problems or pain, but I figured I should get them done before they got any worse. Thanks to my new insurance, it was affordable and I got one side of my fillings done exactly three weeks ago. Since getting the fillings on my molars done, I have had constant pain in my mouth when chewing food. Its like when I chew, it hits a nerve in those teeth that got filled and I have been unable to properly use that side of my mouth. Also, I now have cold sensitivity when I didnt before and I am really frustrated with these results. I figured it was pain that would eventually go away once my molars got used to the fillings, but it hasnt stopped. I have not chewed on the right side of my mouth for three weeks!!!! Cavities are supposed to save your teeth and reduce pain, not introduce it when it didnt exist. Im not sure what to do now or if I should go back to Dr. Shifrin to get things fixed based on the experience Im already having after getting my fillings. Unfortunate.
