The apartment complex was pretty average. Maintenance was good. However the place is relatively run down and dirty. We had mold in multiple locations that were never addressed. After we left we got billed for several different ridiculous things including things that were already broken or dirty when we arrived. Awhile living there we experienced a domestic dispute that involved gun shots. The property manager was not helpful at all and was usually rude. Most of my concerns were ignored. Not worth the hassle to deal with.

BEWARE of this place we moved out of state to Georgia and they misrepresented the apartment to us. We were advised we were getting a newly renovated apartment unit, when we got to Georgia we found out the unit was in unsanitary unlivable condition with paint peeling off the walls, lead traces, dirt everywhere, balcony was rotting, food was splattered on the walls and even pieces of the bottom framework in the kitchen was missing. DO NOT believe the photos you see on their website or the ones they show you they are all old and outdated. The whole property looks like trash. This apartment complex still owes us money because we ended up having to cancel the lease the day we had the walkthrough. Had to file a police report. Stay away if you don't want to be scammed. We ended up being put under duress until we could find another apartment that was safer. Save yourself the trouble and rent somewhere else believe me you do not want to go what we went through.

Gardenbrook Apartments are some of Columbus' best apartment homes. They stay constantly occupied for several reasons. The rent is very reasonable, especially for the size of the apartment. Location is good. The complex is very quiet. Neighbors you meet are very friendly. Amanda in the office is very friendly and helpful. Travis the Maintenance Tech is excellent. He's prompt in completing Work Orders. I rented my apartment online, moving back to Columbus. I wasn't disappointed in the apartment when I got here.
