I live right down the street from this sad excuse for a post office, and would love to use it. I get that they close from 11-12 for lunch. However, I have been there multiple times outside of those hours and they were closed for lunch. It doesnt matter if it is 10 or 2, they will still be closed. Today, I got there before 11 to mail 2 items and was refused service because it was lunch time. It wasnt even 11 yet. I wish I could work the hours they use and still get a full paycheck. Must be nice. If you are going to use this post office, it is like flipping a coin to hope they are open. I, typically, drive out to the Decatur location. They are open and have much better customer service.

This post office is horrible. I went today at 1115 and they had a sign up that there were on a 1 hour lunch from 11-12. So I came back at 1250 and they still werent open with a large line out the door. There should be more accountability for this facility. I have never had a good experience with this place. They have lost my mail, improperly returned my mail, and not been open when they are supposed to be. Its unacceptable. If this were a private/public company as opposed to a federal government run business the service would have been improved or they would have gone out of business long ago. Something needs to change.

Worst post office I've ever had to use. They tried to send my mail back after saying I didn't need to bring my id in to confirm but then said I did the next time I went in. When I brought my id in the next time she was super rude and acted like she didn't know what I was talking about even though it was the same old lady with short hair who told me to bring it. Finally got it done and she wrote my name and id number so I could continue to get mail. Next time I went they again were going my to send my mail back acting as if I hadn't come in three times already to confirm. Also never open when the hours says they should be and cant even access your PO Box after hours like every other location on top of it. Horrible location too in regards to traffic and parking. Old lady that works there needs to retire as she obviously doesn't even want to do bare minimum and is rude for no reason on top of it while people are being perfectly pleasant to her. Normally don't write reviews like this but I cannot fathom how this place could be such a horrible experience for just mail service.
