The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for a work trip. Rooms were a bit small but clean and comfortable. The staff was genuinely wonderful! Nicole, Bryan, and Joy were friendly, responsive, and showed true hospitality. Thank you to this great group for your professionalism and fantastic service-well done!!

Charnice was very helpful.customer service at its best! We had several issues with our original room, the heat and phone was not working. Due to this, Charnice upgraded us to The King Suite (Martin Luther King Jr.s room). The staff is very welcoming, very helpful and friendly. Even the bartender was excellent, he gave us a drink on the house! We will be back to stay here. This will be our new to spot to stay, every-time we return to ATL! Keep Charnice here.shes an excellent employee!

Charnice is the best she gave me an upgrade and the hotel history. Will return and also recommend my family and friends. I cant wait till the renovation is over so I can see the lovely place

Worst hotel stay of my life. This place is a nightmare. The staff is absolutely horrible. We were called at 11:30pm on the hotel phone waking up all my kids because they needed to collect a balance on our account. Told me they were going to charge me even if we did not authorize it. We were not even checking out the next day. Ive never paid a balance before checking out. Plus my credit card is on file. When we checked in we were suppose to have connecting rooms- the lady told us they were connecting- not only were they not connecting they were around the corner - they told me to just put my kids in a room by themselves it would be fine bc they have security. i told them no then told me I should just sleeep all 6 of us in one room with two double beds if I had a problem with it. It is dirty, only one elevator works, and the staff is so unfriendly it is unbelievable. Never ever ever stay here
