Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown

We had a perfect stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. I was disappointed with the $40 self park charge, but I guess that means I need to be extra careful when booking with Hilton. The room was great, the hotel and facilities were great, amenities were great, and as much food and drink as you want were located right out the front door. The Aquarium was directly across the street. Walkability: The Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and other places are all in walking distance. Food & drinks: There are a up to a dozen restaurants eateries and bars in the surrounding area with a lot of them right out the front door. Noteworthy details: Everything is within walking distance of this hotel. It's literally in a perfect location for simplicity. The amenities of the hotel are located on upper floors so you can be comfortable with privacy and safety.

Nearby activities: Aquarium, World of Coke, Skyview, Civil Rights museum, Children's museum....all blocks away Safety: Passkey to get into the elevator. You need a card for the pool. Walkability: Very easy to get everywhere. Food & drinks: So many eatrys around. A tex-mex place to corporate chairs are plentiful. Some good looking breweries on the next block over. Noteworthy details: The pool and hot tub are on the 7th floor. Breakfast is not included. It is quite expensive. Parking is $40.00 and the front desk is consistently asking you regardless of the topic if you are in the garage

Terrible experience at this hotel stay. We stayed here for a volleyball tournament. Elevators were broken and kept getting kids stuck, my hat was stolen from my room and when I spoke to guest services they could not help. The front desk could care less. The parking attendants charged me more money to leave after the hotel said they shouldn't. Hotel again did nothing to help

The hotel itself is beautiful however there are some things that could improvement. When we got there the guy working the front desk was extremely helpful and later he even took a picture of my family for us. The hotel room was nice but the beds in the hotel could be more comfortable. The bed felt unbalanced and squeaky. Also the pillows werent comfortable or supportive in my opinion. My son was excited to use the hot tub only to find it not hot. The temperature was lukewarm and it was a bit dirty. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Could it have been better yes but it was nice during the time we stayed.
