I filed Chapter 13 for student loans and my car. However, I pay over $495 monthly and none of the money went towards my car. She took all of my income tax returns any amount over $1200 and settlements from prior auto accidents things don’t add up. The money was paid to my attorney nearly $5700 for no reason because his fee told to me was just $750. The vehicle has not been paid and needs just the amount the trustee gave in attorney fees or less to be paid in full. I am devastated about Davey not having my best of interest in hand. Right now I still am on Chapter 13 but they knew it would never benefit me because within two years of filing, I filed a different Chapter. I feel it should be completed it’s been over 3 years. However, they advised the car will take another year while other debts credit cards will not be dismissed but resume payment as well as student loans! This scenario does nothing for me! I prefer the Trustee to put the over $5000 to go towards paying off my car. He advised it kept creditors from calling me and garnishing my wages! I told him no one in my entire life has called me about a bill or garnished my wages. And I could easy get a deferment or forbearance for student loans even consolidation- I regret Chapter 13! This is a RIP OFF!

I'm here to pay my bill and they closed early with no notification. This is the first time I've encountered this issue. The staff are very friendly and helpful so this was totally abnormal.
