Friday I called and spoke to Kayla, she advised I wouldnt have to pay an additional fee due to me rectifying a situation..come today I received a notice saying I did have to pay it. My issue was never the money but if you tell me one thing and then Im told a different thing, then I have an issue. I was obviously given the wrong information. I spoke with John today and he had an attitude and statedKayla didnt tell you anything wrong or differentSo by telling me I dont have to pay anything and then I do end up having to pay somethingthats clearly the definition of someone telling you something wrong. This has got to be one of the worst apartments Ive stayed at. The maintenance crew and leasing crew are always rude. No one knows what theyre doing or talking about. Do yourself a favor and find another apartment one where the staff care about the renters. Dont believe anything the leasing office says and always get things in writing. Kayla has worked for this leasing office for quite some time but still is giving the wrong information to residents. The property manager was made aware and refused to speak with me. Very horrible experience with their customer service.

Lived here for a year. At first, they tried to give me an apartment on Jasmine Parkway that was on the news for reasons I am not comfortable mentioning. Guy at the office wasn't aware of this incident, but when I asked for another apartment, they gave me a different one. So at least there's that. I asked to purchase a reserved parking space upon move in, waited months for it to be added, but it never was. The office admitted to forgetting about it so I told them to disregard the request and scrub all related charges from my account. I don't know if they did, but I regret this somewhat, as for the rest of my stay there, I only got to park in front of my own building *some* of the time due to the overcrowded lots. If you have a lot of groceries, a sick animal in a carrier, or need to move in some heavy furniture, then you might be SOL. I moved out February 2023. In November 2023, I unexpectedly got a debt collection email from a third party, but no explanation from Avana as to what it was for, no call, or even an official letter. Just an email that says, "Pay up." I encourage you to read the other reviews and take your money to quite literally anywhere else. Also there's apparently rats now?

I am not a tenant but witnessed rats running around the dumpster. Mold in the apartments, bathtubs peeling and being repainted to disguise the peeling.
