Hugh's Garbage Services

They pick up our trash twice a week at our condos. Our trash cans are in a, probably, annoying place to get (behind a little gate at EACH condo). I doubt a large company would even deal with the hassle, so I am personally grateful for Hugh's Garbage Services (so we dont have a huge dumpster as an eyesore that the whole community has to use), so thank youuuu Hugh!

One of their drivers just pulled through a stop sign and never looked at traffic before pulling onto lake Acworth dr right infront of my family, luckily the lane next to us was open to go into reading other reviews left I can see they just do not have respect for anyone.

I dont use Hughes and never will. I would never give my money to these guys who drive like a bat out of hell all throughout neighborhoods. Have some respect for people that live here.

This year alone, we have ordered 4 rolloff dumpsters and they explained to you that you get to keep them for seven days and after seven days its $10 a day extra. But when you call and leave a message because they never answer the phone to have the dumpster picked up then they dont come. A week later I called back they come pick them up so far I hadnt been charged anything extra, this has happened with all 4 dumpsters. But this fourth dumpster my husband called two weeks ago to have it picked up. We were renovating a house hadnt been over there, came the dumpster was still here. I called left another message. Let them know that he called two weeks ago with a message. They still havent picked it up. So they show up to pick it up today and they wanna charge me $300 because its been 30 days over the 10 in which 15 days are those shouldnt be charged because we called and left a message and they never came and picked it up. The lady proceeded to tell me that she gotten a message that we were being charged anyways so I asked her which card did I have on file before she ran the $300 so she puts me on hold to find out which card it was comes back and said oh it went through. She charged it without my approval just out of spite. I would definitely not ever use Hughes again. We have been loyal customers of theirs using their roll off dumpsters. I was perfectly fine to pay $150 for keeping the dumpster over the seven days. I talk to the owner. He says the phones are not like they used to be and that hes not disputing that we did or didnt call. But hes still gonna charge the $300. Very shady business practice.
