Chase Bank

If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful customer service received from Scott Joslin. I've been banking through Chase for the last 6 months and was looking to upgrade my Secure Checking account to Total Checking account because I have received numerous notifications on the Chase Banking App that I've been approved for this upgrade. Scott proceeds to be rude and condisending while telling me I'm denied and refusing to tell me exactly why I'm denied, he would just shrug his shoulders and say "I don't know, can't tell you" . Instead of coming up with some type of solution, he instead offered absolutely no recommendations or insight. I work in the customer service industry and his behavior was unacceptable. How he is employed there is beyond my understanding.

I have been trying to open an account for months now, through the online portal the ID scan to open an account is broken. I have called support several times and they are unable to resolve. Now because you have no weekend hours, I have to take off work just to open an account with you. Absolutely rediculous.

After reading all of the reviews of this branch I feel I must comment. I have been a customer here for many years, back when.it was Washington Mutual. It's not the closest one to where I live but when I need to do business inside I always come here. Sometimes I have had to wait, but it's usually because all 3 of the tellers have customers who have needs that just take time and they give those customers respectable service without rushing them. Could be an older person that is overwhelmed by technology or an average person who was scammed, or having a difficult time financially. I've been in those situations and more, but I know they will make the time to do as much as they can to help me, and not say"I'm sorry there is nothing we can do . I'm curious to know how many of those who wrote bad reviews have worked in service positions and dealt with overreacting, ignorant, or selfish better than thou people. I do agree that the ATM is not reliable. But it is a machine. It happens. Maybe it gets used so much it stops.
