Easiest rental pick up I have ever experienced! Friendly staff and the car was what my family and I paid for and needed for our vacation! Would certainly recommend this company!

Payless has poor customer service. Car was not ready and vehicle lacked on gas. I ordered and paid for car in advanced but was charged full price as if renting day of. They could not take care of at counter as I was told on phone. Also missing miles from previous rentals with Payless. I will no longer rent with them.

My experience was damaging. Sometimes we don't want to complain so that we do not jeopardize the employee in such hard times, but this employee and Avis(Parent Company) employees were definitely at fault. Eduardo at Miami Intl Airport felt as if what I was requesting was out of his power. I was only requesting to be serviced too. My reservation time was 2PM I arrived at 1:45, because it is the MIA Intl Airport location I expect delays ( not really from Payless because one reason I go with Payless is because they are usually not as busy as the other rental companies. I didn't get serviced until 300 PM , that was after me requesting Avis employees to please call someone because I had already been there for an hour and there was no one at the counter. When Edurdo finally decided to show up, according to him his scheduled time which was 3PM, he greeted me with a " I just got here, step away from counter ". At this point you can imagine my level of frustration, i proceeded to ask why hasn't anyone been at the counter he replied " I don't know, I showed up at my scheduled time and that my problem, any other issues bring it up with Avis management, I am retiring in a week and i do not need this stress." I don't understand the comment, he treated me so badly that out of respect for the person I opted for crying out of helplessness due to so much humiliation of that Payless representative towards me, my only crime was renting a car at the wrong time. I don't know if said mistreatment was because of the color of my skin, because I was a Local Rental or because I was a client. Or it was simply complot by employees of the Payless and parent/sister company that supports such nasty behavior. It's sad that people like that are representing Payless car rental, for my part I would never rent with you again and I will advise my friends from doing so as well regardless of "the low prices" as Eduardo also assumed i was there because your cheap, and I wasn't there because of that, i was there because I am in and out. I will be mailing corporate because this ordeal has definitely CAUSED ME DISTRESS as a paying customer, I would not wish this on anyone else
