R Torres apparently had a run-in with one of our drivers on the road. If you read his reviews, most of them are related to road incidents. He was never a customer of ours and never interacted with us face to face.At Great Dane Heating & Air, our reputation matters. We would never conduct business under the influence. In fact, we hold our drivers and technicians to very high standards including drug testing. Although we are harmed by Mr. Torres’ review, we are extremely confident that the review is false. We know our staff and we know the facts.A quick look at Torres's five 1-star reviews on Google shows that he must live in or close to Kissimmee and that he likes to disparage companies he has issues with on the roadway, not with their businesses per se. In his review of another HVAC company in Kissimmee, he notes that he is “retired and would never speak to or treat” people this way. In our review, he claims that he “asked us to leave his place of business.” Not only does he contradict himself here, but we primarily service residential customers and have not had any calls to businesses in many weeks. In regards to Torres never speaking to people in a certain way, he called a driver at a detail shop in Kissimmee a “dumb lil jackass” just a week ago. Don’t take our word for it; you can review his five reviews by clicking on his name.Even though R Torres was never a customer of ours, we tried to call him to discuss whatever caused him to write his disparaging review–a libelous claim that hurts our reputation and business without merit. Unfortunately, the number he called us on was a blocked number with a 407 area code, once again, not a Jacksonville area code.We are committed to high standards in the quality of work, in our relationships, and in the character of our staff. Anyone who has actually done business with us knows this. If you are considering hiring us for a job, rest assured that none of our experienced staff will conduct themselves in the manner R Torres suggests happened.R Torres, I call on you to remove this disparaging review because of its lack of factual basis and libelous nature. No one came to your business apparently under the influence. I also ask you, R Torres, to call me to discuss whatever upset you so that we can learn from this experience. You might have a right to be upset with how one of our drivers drove (and we are concerned about safety for sure), but your heat-of-the-moment review is undermining our business. We hope you will reconsider.
