Up date. : they did refund my money . They sold me a maintenance contract for my condo in Daytona. The very first time I calle , they sent a guy apparently untrained in ac. He said I had to get someone else to set the lines, since he did not know how to do that. ? What AC company is not able to do that? That very night, I found someone yo set the lines. I called BFS again the next morning. It took 11 days to respond with the answers that: they have no technicians in Volusia since they closed that office. They have to send out Jax techs all the way to Daytona, Therefore you have no emergency service. My Tenent was without AC for 11 days. I had to pay for her to stay elsewhere as it was 101 outside. Also BFS said they could not find anyone to work on my particular unit which is four years old under warranty. The very first call I made, I got a company who, found the part and installed it in 24 hours. Broward finally sent me a rude email that bid the repair at 2300. Ive paid them 500 for the contract and 75 for the first service call. Broward wax still looking for the part and a tech. I had to hire two other companies to do the work. There were four screws in the top of the condenser that my tech had to take off to change the compressor. By the way, he charged me less than Broward bid and he responded asap. What a shame and disgrace to behave that way to a customer. I recommend that you do not hire them for anything. Further if you bought a service contract, I would cancel as they are not a service company. I asked for s refund for my contract but they will not call me back.

I have contracted with this firm for HVAC and appliance repair for about 10 years. The idea is simple - for an annual fee they come to your home anytime something breaks and fix it. Usually the next day, sometimes the same day. No trip charge, no deductible they just fix it. I recommend them to my friends.

The annual AC maintenance was recently done by Jason. I was happy with the fast and professional quality of service, and he answered all my questions. Chris and Jim have also done great work in the past. BFS helped fix a tricky kitchen problem a few years ago. Michelle in the office is very helpful and responsive, and patiently answers all my questions. Keep up the good work! Service: A/C system maintenance
