Home Helpers Home Care of SE Jacksonville, FL

I have started using the service of Home Helpers Home Care of SE Jacksonville for my husband Jaime V Del Pilar since August 2023 after he had a cardiac arrest in July 11th. Ayeshia the care giver that takes care of him is kind , compassionate and always on time. She takes him to dialysis 3x a week. I have been very pleased with the srvice so far and the agency has been very patient with me when it comes to scheduling of their service. I am very happy and thankful for their help. Working for Home Helpers SE Jacksonville has been such a fulfilling experience. You can tell how much this family-owned business cares for their clients and their caregivers. They are a team that works long hours just to insure the best care for their clients. I have a lot of respect and appreciation for the owners and this business.

Very kind and helpful owner. This was a awesome experience. They gave great care to my 95 years old father in law for a few years now. But he has been move to a nursing home for 24/7 care. Thank you Mr. Hawkins and staff.

Speaking from a clients perspective, I decided to hire some help after my mother had a stroke with caused aphasia while also having dementia. Edward comes and meets you while making assessment for future care, will literally tell you all the things you want to hear. I specifically needed last minute assistance for 2wks/12hrs a day due to a business trip I had to take. Agreed to pay $27hr for services, Edward promised a peace of mind and definitely could not deliver that. Aside from the extremely poor communication he also displayed poor logistical skills, out of the two weeks he did not schedule a caregiver for my mother the second weekend(while I was out of town) nor cared to communicate anything about it. I was forced to find family to help with her care that weekend. Almost didnt have anyone scheduled the first weekend due to his poor communication/logistical skills, without the consistency of the caregivers I wouldnt of been able to finish my work trip with a real peace of mind. I have zero complaints of the caregivers they are awesome and reliable, but the individuals whom own and operate this business are not reliable at all.
