    I am not a member of Community First Credit Union and from the first and last experience I had with them, I never will be. I am a member of a different credit union that share branches with this location. I have never done shared branching before but used to work for a credit union, so I know how it works. I went inside and was told they only share branch through the atm. Oh, but I couldn't use it because it was being audited at the time. So I came back 2 hours later and deposited my money through the atm. Everything was going well until it said it was returning something to me and spent a straight 5 minutes making noise and doing nothing. It then said it was unable to return my money it said due to a technical error and to bring my receipt inside to a teller. It gave me my card back and a receipt. I was running late to go pick up my daughter from school so I didn't have much time, but I went inside and quickly told the teller what happened and handed her the receipt. She barely looked at it and just said "well it took it so you need to contact your financial institution." If she had actually read my receipt she would have seen that the bottom said there was a technical error on THEIR atm. There was no sympathy for the situation or her seeing if there was anything else they could do like speak to a team lead or something. Even if there was nothing they could do, it was the lack of acknowledgment to the situation and sympathy that did it for me. It was straight attitude and unprofessionalism. Even if I am not a member, I would think there would still be professionalism present.

    My Dad passed away recently. He had one account at this bank. It was to be shared by 5 siblings and myself. One of my brothers presented a death certificate and filled out the paperwork. He was told they would get in touch with the other 5. But they didn't take our contact information as he tried to provide it. Long story short. One excuse after another. It's now 65 days later and 3 of us still have not received our checks. It was like pulling teeth. You would think it was the 1st time they ever dealt with the passing of a member. I would give it no stars if that was possible.
