Budget Car Rental

I waited for 3.5 hours for a car that was reserved in Jacksonville, FL. No one at the counter was helpful. They could not tell me if my car would be available soon, nor did they do anything to resolve my issue. The woman at the Fast Break counter was insensative to my disappointment of having to wait so long. Then at this point I found alternate transportation to my destination. Then to compound the matter, Budget charged me for a car I never received. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Customer Service and was promised a refund within 3-5 days. Well, one week later and no refund. So back to the phone to be placed on hold again. I was a Fast Break customer, but after this experience, I will never use Budget again. I have an upcoming trip and chose Avis over Budget for a comperable price.

These guys are crooks. They will rent you a vehicle and offer you gas and tell you they will reimburse You for the gas. If you return it full and then they do not. In other words, you feel the tank up with gas and they keep the charge on you. They are crooks.

Extremely long wait to pick up the car. 30 -45 minutes in one line, again a 30 minute wait at car kiosk. Not a good system.
