Budget Truck Rental

Reserved a cargo van 3 weeks in advance of my move here. When I showed up to pick up my van the only thing they had to offer was a 16 foot box truck(obviously not even remotely similar). They referred me to Budgets customer service instead of dealing with it themselves. Budget customer service said the only thing they could do was give me the 16ft truck at the same price as a van. They made no effort to procure a smaller truck even though I was willing to adjust my truck size and pick up date or even take the only truck they had ready if they gave a discount to make up for the much higher price of gas. All in all it was an absolutely terrible experience that ended with me having no truck reserved for me to move all the way across the country. If zero stars was a choice I would choose that.

Cancelled Cargo Van rental. Never got an email confirmation. All calls to local rental center not answered and transferred to main cooperate center. Wait time to speak to someone was over an hour with several attempts. Request for email cancel confirmation never received.

Literally the worst rental experience Ive ever had. Staff could not locate reservation, Reserved vehicle was not available, staff on site was rude, truck leaked freezing rain the entire trip from Florida to NYC. If I could give negative stars I would. Find anywhere else to rent from.

Just watch out for the hidden fees i was supposed to only spend $35 it ended up being $120 just to rent there smallest truck for a day.so that $19.99 you see online is just to get you in there.
