I have had both positive and negative shopping trips at this location. I can usually find exactly what I need and what is on my list. The gentleman in the meat department (Felipe) is very friendly and my husband and I both love bantering and talking sports with him. I find even during the height of the pandemic BJ's did your best at keeping things well stocked and available and communicated when things were not available. I will say there are a few front end service associates (seem to look like team leaders and I use that word loosely) that can use a good lesson in customer service and techniques on how to treat both customer and associates. There is one cashier that looks like she is in pain every time we go in.. self check out comes in handy at this point. I can check myself out with a smile. Now as for as when it comes time to leave, I do not appreciate being accosted by the home improvement sales reps. Even when I give a polite answer of no thank you.. they continue to ask questions and try to persuade me into conversation. If I wanted or needed home improvements I would go to a home improvement store.. as in Lowes -- its right next door to your location. Next, do something about the traffic jam that the fueling station causes. When I inquired about my tire pressure, the attendant told me that the hose was "right over there", he did not offer assistance. I purchased tires elsewhere. The clincher was when I went to purchase lottery tickets and they wanted to I.D. me.... I am well over 21. This store is getting out of control.
