Quest Diagnostics

11 Feb 2022 Staff was rude, uncaring, and condescending. Despite having a confirmation number and using the link Quest texted me to check in, I was told I did not have an appointment. When I became upset (I was on lunch break and already late because of the appointment missing), I was told I was disturbing other patients and making them upset. My own feelings, apparently, meant nothing. Being made to feel worthless really doesn't make me ever want to go back to Quest. Of course, I have no choice, since it's the only lab considered in-network.

As a nurse I know how difficult some blood draws can be, especially when it comes to getting blood from kids. My son had a condition that required some frequent blood draws, so I figured I would take him where I go, to the Quest in Ft. Pierce. After 3 attempts, all in different parts of his arm, I told them to stop, and we would try somewhere else. I then remembered the lab in Walmart on St. Lucie West. We walked in, put our name in system and he was in a chair in about 10 minutes. The phlebotomist inspected his arm for a few seconds and said ok, lets do it, and before my son knew what hit him, three vials were done. I was shocked. I think this place is absolutely terrific! I now bring my entire family here, including my 3 kids. Theres rarely a wait, and they are courteous, quick, highly personable and very good at what they do. I have a hard time believing some of these 1 star reviews (its in a Walmart so I cant even imagine some of the BS the Quest staff has to deal with from some of the customers/ patients). Keep up the great work because you all do a terrific job.

I had a wonderful experience because of Lacresia! I get so nervous when I know I have to have my blood drawn, because I have hidden rolling veins. Upon my initial contact with her I felt calm because of her confidence and her wonderful demeanor. The second the needle went in, which I didn't even feel, the blood kept coming. I was elated! Anyone who has veins like I do is so grateful to have someone so competent. She's the best!! She made what is usually a horrible experience for me a wonderful experience.
