Called the customer service hot line being a customer of theres looking for help for something they didnt know in location and was met with rudeness. Of sir its not our responsibility. So what is there responsibility

I walked in with the intention of opening an account. There was what seemed like a manager talking (while standing) to someone in his glass window office. Seemed like he was nearly finished. There was one customer in line in the lobby ahead of me. The guy in the office was talking to what seemed like a personal visitor. We were waiting for about 5 minutes. Finally the guy came out discussing the carpet with his visitor then finally called the lady in front of me to the counter. He couldnt get his computer on line, so he had her get back in line. I said to her, thats doesnt sound good. She explained to me that she was doing an online transaction that was not working. She said she called the bank and was told she had to come in the bank to get it resolved. Finally she was called up to the counter to a different teller. (Now Ive been waiting 14 to 15 minutes). The manager (again guessing that he was) said what can I do for you. I replied that I would like to open an account. He said Ill be with you shortly. Finally the lady was walking past me to the door, and I could tell she was not happy with the outcome of her visit. She whispered to me that they were not helpful. Then the maybe Mgr, raised his voice across the lobby, said loudly this is not the place to give a review! WOW, I quickly turned around and walked out the door with the lady by my side. Ill never go back to BMO!

I had such an amazing experience working with Gina to resolve an issue I had with needing to track something down. She was great to talk to and made my complicated problem seem easy and effortless. Thank you Gina!
