Can't say enough about the attention and quality Discount Tire puts first. Great team of people and exceptional service. UPDATE... Same great spirit and attention to detail. Spirit meaning, genuinely great people.

I've been a loyal customer for 15+ years. I return for several reasons: price-matching, intentional focus on granular aspects of customer service (greet upon entrance, clear communication, professional decorum, respectful interactions, and a priority on ensuring a positive experience for each customer), and transparency. I have yet to visit this store without at minimum, being accompanied by no less than 5-10 other customers. I compare this to competitor tire companies that often have 1-2 customers present. This is a direct correlation with the intentional culture of customer service and concerted efforts to exceed each customer's expectations - people come here because they have a positive experience. With that said, my most recent experience took a 180 from my previous encounters. In short, there was a delay in the arrival for part of my purchase that exceeded both the verbal and written timeline that I was assured at the point of sale. Efforts to resolve the issue took the form of an associate contacting the distributor to learn that the wheels had only been sent for shipping (from Tx) on the day that I was assured delivery in Fort Collins. The associate was visibly frustrated, and while they made efforts to problem-solve the matter (find a different wheel to be shipped over-night), this frustration unfortunately was transferred to me and it was implied that I was being difficult, unreasonable, and challenging; "you have to understand that I'm trying to run a business here". To the associate's credit, they did not break professional decorum and continued their efforts to correct the problem (while the showroom continued to grow with additional customers). Despite having to leave on the day of delivery/install without the purchased materials, the associate continued their efforts the following day. While these did not prove to be fruitful in rectifying the matter, it did show diligence and a desire to "make it right". Ultimately, there were no satisfactory alternatives for the delayed product, so I had to absorb the disruption associated with changing of schedules, plans, etc. without a solution. However, I want to highlight that the associate demonstrated persistence to correct the problem when they easily could have written me off with a "there is nothing I can do about this" sentiment. Furthermore, the associate connected me to the Senior Assistant Manager, who exemplified patience in hearing the entire story in granular detail, a "we'll absolute correct this" mentality, and far exceeded my expectation with the agreed upon reparation to the situation. All this is to say that Discount Tire creates an intentional organizational culture focused on customer service and support. While their size has benefits with regards to inventory, volume, and ultimately, lower cost to the customer (come on y'all, do a quick google search for your product(s) take it in, and they will beat it), their size also has downfalls with regards to shipping delays, # of customers at the store at one time, etc. Simply put, if you're looking for a professional, courteous, fair cost tire/wheel store that cultivates an organizational culture of service and learning from the inevitable challenges and mistakes that occur while running a business in a desire to do better in the future, Discount is the place for you.
