We had very pleasant practice with Deb: she was very welcoming, sweet and experienced instructor. I definitely felt challenged, relaxed and at peace at the end.
The location is gorgeous and quiet. Highly recommend!

One of many things I miss about Durango. This studio is easily my favorite place to practice yoga. The instructors are knowledgeable and in touch. The spiritual experience is emphasized, which is exactly what I come to yoga for. Words aren't enough to describe the safe loving home you'll find here. Go. Go often. Bring your friends.

Yoga Durango is a warm, welcoming community. I recently moved to Durango and was so excited to feel like I could breathe and move with like minded people. The instructors are highly trained with a wide variety of experiences that they share through their teachings. I highly recommend Yoga Durango.

After some 30 years practicing yoga, across several states and two continents, Sheryl McGourty remains indelibly etched in my consciousness as the single best teacher. She loves people, is witty and entertaining, highly intelligent, and, which is more, knows with surety that yoga was never about the asanas. We are conditioning ourselves, mind, body and soul, to thrive. Somehow she speaks to me every single class. Dont be fooled by the Slow Yoga class title. You will burn and be constantly reminded to return always to the breath, and learn to use it as your governor, the calmer of your central nervous system. Do be aware that her classes are popular. She may run a couple minutes long, giving everyone full value. Bring a timepiece. You are responsible for your own busy schedule. Enter savasana, and leave when you are ready. She wont be offended that you are taking care of yourself. I cannot get enough of Slow Yoga with Sheryl.
