This review is for meet corp. in general. I've been doing business with them for 12 years since 2003. I have never had a problem, all packages were delivered on time, nothing missing. But my last package was opened on Belarussian border and returned to Lvov office because i put 30 g of tobacco and 1 bottle of alcohol. Per my request they took out tobacco and alcohol, repackaged (I don't know why, because tobacco and alcohol were on top inside the box) and sent to Belarus, Minsk. While this happened the weight of the package went from 60 lb to 54 lb. When it was delivered to my sister some merchandise was missing. I have contacted my agent in Denver and she said she would file a claim. She did, my claim was denied with the word " It could not happen." So I called the main office in Canada myself and spoke with Valentina, explained her what has happened. She asked me to call he back next day while she tried to get a list of things that were shipped from Lvov. I called her back. I was told that Meest staff in Lvov is very honest and they could not steal and Belarussian customs are very honest people and it is impossible for them to take anything from my package. Indirectly I was called a lier and delusional person, because it is impossible to remember what you put in 60 lb package. My insurance claim was denied even though my package was insured for $50 and then additional $60.
I am very upset since i've been a customer for so long and was treated so bad. I'll never recommend this company to anyone and definitely I will not shipping anything with them again

You and your office are representative of the Meest Corp. So, my review is at the right place. People need to know what can happen to their package when it leaves your facility. People have the right to know how I was treated by the head office and the struggles I experienced to get the money back. Because you yourself cant accept the claim of lost property and issue the insurance payment.
You need to talk to the head office and make sure nobody will get treated the way I did.

Sent through this place a package that supposed to be delievered via plane in 2-3 weeks. The package was delievered in 6 weeks. Its better to not pay extra.
