Green Acres Granite Countertops Colorado Springs

I did not use their service but you need to read this! Green Acres Granite is located in Colorado Springs and Denver. Bought an older house and wanted to replace the countertops everywhere. I read on Yelp there were 68 Colorado Springs complaints that families wrote about this Green Acres Granite mismeasuring their counters, not fixing it, etc. so I called up innocently to the Centennial Green Acres Granite place and asked if the fabricators could come to Colorado Springs to do the work instead of the Colorado Springs fabricators. I talked to a guy named Dave. I told him (not knowing exactly who he was) and he said oh, it is people who just like to complain. I told him I do not agree and they need to clean up those complaints on Yelp. I did go to the CS store and dealt with a very gruff Ian Forbes and found not the slab I called about but another and thought, ok, I will try one cabinet and see how they do on a boomerang shaped cabinet. I get an email that the store is not a good fit and no other explanation after writing and asking 2 times. I looked up who owns the stores, a DAVE Castlemust of been the DAVE I talked to and he took the time from up in Centennial to call his CS store and say do not sell to me. I really appreciate people taking the time to write reviews on how their experience was with whatever place they are dealing with so if it is bad, prefer not to go that route, too, since I have been burned over the years. So I write or should I SCREAM this, BUYERS BEWARE, the owner does not care how many complaints he gets and that makes me want to warn anyone who does read reviews!!! Allyson Strobel

I had countertops in the kitchen and in two bathrooms and a basement half wall topped. They did the plumbing and did an amazing job. They always arrived on time and were very professional. Ian the overall manager was great and always explained things clearly and the scheduling calls were very helpful. Bill that did the laser measuring was spot on and he was a jack of all trades and did sone extra finish work that went above and beyond what was expected. Overall a 5 star job !

Bill at Green Acres Granite did an unbelievable job of measuring for my counter top in the master bath and kitchen. Both rooms had some unusual problems. Not only were Bill's measurements right on, his suggestions helped so much. The guys who installed the beautiful counter tops did a very good job as well

The process was fine until we got to the install. After the counters were put in we noticed a small crack in one of the corners. When we called they assumed we had done something wrong which we didnt. They finally replaced them but guess what the same crack appeared in the same exact place. They basically told us to pound sand. When we asked to speak to the owner we were told we could only email him which we did and got zero response. Im sure it was a problem with the install because how could it happen in the same exact place twice. If you use this company know that if there is a problem you are on your own.

As long as you understand that the company is always right, you work with their schedule, are ready for costs not disclosed (or changed) from the time of quoting and are happy with poor install quality...you'll enjoy working with this company!
