    --Update Jan 2024-- The manager of the Sacramento Home Pride got back to us. We scheduled a time when he could come over and see the shower and look at what needed to be done. Scheduled a second appointment to come use expanding foam under the shower pan to stop the shifting and caulk around the shower pan. I could hear him talking to his assistant about how poor a job the other guys had done, all preventable stuff. After about 36hrs I took pictures and sent him some. Some caulking had sucked into the wall a bit and there was a couple gaps. He came the next day and fixed it. I am appreciative that they fixed the shower. -Spring 2023- We were foolishly brow-beaten into accepting them to demo the bathtub and do it into a large shower for about $14k (but a lifetime guarantee right???). Just the bathtub area, nothing else. After a 1-2 week delay, the demo was quick enough and they were neat about it which I appreciate it. After it was gutted there were more delays. When they pre-cut the fabricated walls to the size of the shower they left plastic debris everywhere in my front lawn, from small chunks to cheese grate size that I had to clean up the best I could. Another delay for the inspector. The inspector came and everything was set up. The caulking job was below subpar. They did not use masking tape to line the caulking so it was messy. There is a window in the shower area and it has caulking all over the frame and wall around the window. The rest of the caulking around the base of the shower pan was sparse and the caulking around the sliding doors was nonexistent. -2-3 months later- The caulking around 75% of the base walls has molded or/and been sucked into the wall. The caulking that did wash away out of the walls that didn't get sucked in was covered in mold. A very clear sign that improper caulking had been used. Mold/mildew won't stop growing where the caulking should have been under the sliding doors. It is a true nightmare to keep clean and sanitary. Part of the messy caulking job around the window is separating as well. I am heartbroken now at the money we spent (we paid in full) and how we got awful service. We called and asked someone to come fix the caulking. A couple of weeks later someone just randomly shows up (no appointment had been broached) to fix it. I watched him do it a bit, I didn't want to crowd the narrow bathroom. No masking tape was used to line the shower wall. Instead of tearing all the old caulking out he pushed it into the wall and went over it. Shortly after that, I noticed something off about the sliding shower doors, couldn't explain it just knew something was wrong. I sent a picture to the manager and he said that the doors had been put on backwards. I found it to be a humorous mistake. -Fall 2023- The caulking that had been redone is now either sucked into the shower wall again or falling out into the drain except this time there is more of the original caulking coming out. When the redone parts come out I can see the old caulking attached to some of it and it was all badly molded. The window area is stained yellow from the bad "clear" caulking that had been used on it and was not properly cleaned up. We called HomePride again and they said that the caulking falling out was no big deal because the shower pan was there.... They never came back to fix their mistakes and didn't pick up our calls. -December 26, 2023- Such a great amount of buyer remorse (and in my first home) that I would not wish this on anyone. The gap in the base of the shower has widened showing instability in the base and an improper installation of the shower pan or an improper measurement in the fabricated wall they cut out. Maybe even both. They had used the wrong caulking which molded continuously and fallen out. They did not properly place caulking around the base of the sliding glass shower doors where mold and mildew constantly jam up and grow even with my diligent cleaning. I clean the bathroom daily with non-bleach cleaners (as I was instructed by the installers/salesman) and it is still gunking up.

    My husband and I updated our 40 year old Master Bath from a tub to a shower walk-in for safety reasons as we are getting older. John and Jay did a spectacular job. Very professional, and with great attention to detail. They listened to our questions and concerns, and gave thoughtful responses which clearly indicated their level of expertise. There was one mix up on the original contract (it was re-written at the time of sale, due to a computer glitch, and the niche we had originally chosen was not included.) We totally missed this in the final contract, as there is a Lot if decisions being made at the time of purchase. The company made it right! The quality of the product appears to be high end and the bath was completed in 1 day! Costumer service was next level. We are very happy.

Some caulking had sucked into the wall a bit and there was a couple gaps. He came the next day and fixed it. I am appreciative that they fixed the shower.
