AVOID THIS COMPANY. Mike is an irresponsible and the most unprofessional contractor we have had to deal with. Stole our money and took off. Left us with low quality work and an unfinished house. Had to pay double to get it fixed. This company is trouble. Change orders came in as soon as we started construction. Avoid this company, it's my best advise. I don't wish what we went through with Mike on anyone else. See the BBB reviews for better/more details on this company. This man should be in jail. Worst contractor ever. He literally avoided calls and texts and never finished the job I paid money to complete. He also didn’t pay his employees the money he promised to them. Completely rude and unprofessional. Check out the better business bureau, there are more stories like this.

CHECK HIS INSURANCE!!! Mike at All Universal is extremely unprofessional and using the business to scam people. Don’t just read my review there are several reviews and ones on BBB that say the same thing. We were able to afford to have another contractor come in and finish the job, but most people can’t do that, that’s why we are writing this review. He left the job undone and extremely messy as well as damaged another room in our home and refused to pay for it . He will ignore your calls after you’ve paid him. Mike, Anthony, and Louies both worked together on this scam. Mike will come off very interested in your project but the moment you pay him he will stop answering your calls and slowly let the workers pull away from the job. CHECK HIS INSURANCE!!!!! His reviews on Facebook are by his family. Read all reviews everywhere you can before (and I hope you don’t) hire him. Also I was so happy my husband documented every text, email and recorded all calls to show evidence if we decided to file a claim. Our job was supposed to be done in 2 weeks and 8 weeks and incomplete. We know how expensive remodels are and don’t want anyone to waste money on someone like this.

This company is a FRAUD!!. Please avoid this contractor at all cost. I won't go in to the details of the job since the saga is as long or longer than any of the previous reviews. Their MO is the same as pointed out by other posts, namely poor communication with subcontractors, sloppy work, inattention to details and cutting corners everywhere. Near the end, I was having to pay the subcontractors directly at the owner's request. I eventually asked Jeffco to remove All Universal and its subcontractors from the building permit so that a qualified contractor could finish the job. In addition to the heavy cost overrun, we had to pay other contractors another $11K to fix their poor work and errors. The owner will threaten you with legal action if you complain to BBB. Best not to engage with the company. We think that for each poor review they have people writing fake reviews for them. This company is a scam.
