Ive been trying to get an appointment for my daughters and I to get her eyes checked. The customer service level that I have received after going here for so many years is horrible. I was asking for appointment at a certain timeframe to keep all three of us available. All i got in return was Im sorry we cant accommodate you and heres a form for you and your girls to go somewhere else. I Tried to talk to them again and all I got was sorry for not responding and youre gonna be removed off of our call list. This is the worst customer service ever I will not go back.

Their treatment for dry itchy eyes was transformative. IPL and a daily heated pad improved my previously painful dry eye condition. Fantastic

Pretty grimy experience at this eye doctor. Went here for a lasik consultation, only to be met with resistance and unwillingness to give me any sort of eligibility, despite being clear with the office that it was my sole reason for visiting. Then, the doctor told me my vision has decreased by -3 over the period of one year. A pretty big difference, I'm sure one would notice if your eyesight has diminished to that extent- on top of that, my eyesight has been stable for the past 8 years. Save your eyes, your money, your time, and go elsewhere. Plenty of doctors in the area.

05/2023 Husband went to this center because the VA uses them to do cataract eye surgeries. It's a joke! They wanted to scotch tape lenses to equipment to measure my husband's eyes for new lenses...how does that work? Literal scotch tape additional lenses to a machine. The gal doing the measuring said she did not know how that was going to work...(yet she taped away) To say the least it did not! She suggested not only would she talk with the surgeon, but would call her instructor at PIMA medical institute to see what they said. (Its only your eyesight they are messing with.) That instills such confidence with your only eyes. She said they did not have equipment in their office to measure his eyes since he has had RK surgery 30 years ago...but of course we were charged for the visit. Every visit, something wasn't done right by the professional offering it, Doctors blamed the staff, blaming staff for their deficiencies and yet charging you for things not being done right. The upselling of services and the guilt in not taking those uncovered by insurance services is borderline on scamming. We made a full report to the VA of our treatment at this office. Six, visit of garbage. We had paid for extra services they stated were needed, but when we realized we were in a subpar doctor's office, we asked for a refund of the remaining treatments. We were told the check was in the mail. Still waiting for my refund check that was mailed in March. (Actually a month later, we went in and got the refund check that was "mailed"). It is now August and that imaginary check has yet to show up. They are a major Scam! We have made a full report to the Veterans Administration of their inability to treat eye patients and an appointment by appointment description of what happened. It's just your eyes, after all... right? Have a new provider and our treatment was day and night difference in treatment and care. No problem measuring his eyes, no pressure to buy more expensive lenses, no $800 eye treatments before surgery...no doctors blaming others for their defections and as of 11/07/23 we still haven't got the refund check. Beware please, this is not how it's done. Response to the response, 02/16/24 Regarding the check, you said you mailed. The check you show cashed is the one I had to go to your office to collect because the one "In the mail" to date has NEVER arrived. I got tired of waiting for the refund that was NEVER mailed. But again it was in the mail Right?!. You tried to do measurements on my husband's eyes by TAPING lenses to a machine. (I wish I was kidding about that!) When that did not work, your tech advised us you did not have machines to measure his eyes in the office. Funny because the other doctor who is preforming his surgery HAD all the equipment needed to do a proper measurement on his eyes. His dry eye was treatable without additional "$250 treatments", including special heating pads, and we were not pressured to purchase the upgraded lenses at $2000 to $4000+ that was not covered by insurance. Your tech doing the measurements suggested she might call her PIMA instructor to see what she could do to get proper measurements. RED FLAG NUMBER 10 at this point. You can keep the records, as we started from scratch with our new provider based on our experience with you! VA had no problem starting from scratch, either. So spin it however you want, but this office should stick to the Botox, so proudly display in every display space of the office. =

Emily, I am sorry we couldn't accommodate your family of 3 after 4:00pm for full eye exams. We did offer to alter our schedule and we requested staff to stay late so we could get two of the three in after 4:00 on one day and the other family member after 4:00 the next day, but that did not meet your expectations. We are happy to make reasonable accommodations for your family; however, performing 3 full dilated eye exams after 4:00pm keeps our staff here after hours and takes away from their time with their families. We are happy to make the accommodation we offered you, but if this doesn't meet your expectations or needs, then there isn't much else we can do if you aren't willing to make accommodations in your schedule. There are other clinics with weekend and evening hours that may better suit your family's needs. We were only trying to be helpful in figuring out ways your family of 3 can be seen together after 4pm for full exams, even if that meant you were seen somewhere else. If you change your mind, or if you are able to make any accommodations in your schedule, we could see all 3 of you starting at 3:30 Monday - Friday, or the original accommodation we offered above. Please give us a call 303-699-3107. Thank you.

Sorry you felt this way, Ria. Looks like the doctor wanted to see you back for a no charge visit after you were able to wear your glasses for 1 month so we can remeasure your eye in a natural state. Contacts can actually alter the curvature of your cornea and the eye should be measured in a natural state, especially if we are basing surgical plans off of these measurements. There is no charge for this visit, just some data collecting. If you would like to proceed and get more information, please follow the doctor's instructions so we can get reliable measurements to determine your candidacy. 303-699-3107. Thank you.

Ms. Cauthen, I am sorry you feel this way about your visits with us. I am not sure about the May visit you referenced, but we have not seen your husband since March of 2023. We take a lot of pride in our surgical outcomes, that also means we perform a lot of measurements prior to surgery. Measure 3 times, cut once theory. With any previous eye surgery, it makes getting the measurements for cataract surgery much more difficult because we are no longer measuring on a natural cornea, it has been surgically altered and the measurements can fluctuate. The only payment you made to our office was for the IPL treatments, which we educate about and let the patients decide what works best for them. This is the most effective tool we have though. Half of your payment was refunded to you because the other half of the treatments weren't performed. As for staff blaming each other, this is news to me, as we all work incredibly well together and are well educated in our field. As for your refund check, it cleared our bank account on 4/6/2023. We wish you and your husband the best and hope that you find an Ophthalmology office that better suits your needs. Should you need us to forward any records, please call our office at 303-699-3107 and speak with our records department. Thank you.
