850 on the Avenue

I have lived at 850 on the Ave (Formal Capital Place) for over 5 years now and feel like I have to warn new potential renters that this IS NOT the place to be. Rent in the last year has gone up over $500 for my self personally with the new property management company; with little to no notice I might add. They have three different numbers listed on this ad alone which DO NOT CONNECT you with the office. I have placed several work orders for my apartment with maintenance but they won't help you unless you consistently pester them into doing so. I've had maintenance enter my home without asking several times and even mix up work orders. I am now after rent hikes being asked to pay for utilities separately including things like "Security" and "Pest" when my car has been broken into 3 times since I've moved in and I have a pest control request dating back over a year. You will be far better off trying any other newer complex in the area with similar (sometimes even lower) prices while delivering an extremely higher quality of living.

Staff is so amazing! Lydia was very patient with me, answered all my stupid questions and went above and beyond to help me understand the process! Will be my first apartment and I truly appreciate the kindness the whole team has shown me.

Amazing property administration, lived here for 2 years sadly moving on after retirement. Location, security, cleanliness top notch one of the better apartment complexes in the are with great amenities nearby

As a current resident I waited to post those to share more of my experience. Latonda and the team here have been great. Upon move in we were on a very tight schedule as we had a baby due at any moment, Latonda was our agent and her and the team did whatever they needed to quickly to get us approved and moved in not only in time to take advantage of a special they had going on, but after moving in we had the baby the next day!! The team here is very understanding and works with you through situations. I can say overall Im satisfied here so far, love the look of my place and everything that is included with it for me and my family. Blessings to you guys.

My fiancee and I are very grateful for our leasing agent LaTonda for making moving in a painless experience, being available, and always accommodating us. Especially since we wanted to move in as soon as possible. She said she would try her best and she made it happen. She is a really nice and confident person that you can rely on.
