        My wife has been in here several times to purchase items for a remodel. Were working with a designer, and she mentions that at the register upon checking out and has the code and contact info ready. Every single time, without fail, she is harassed about validity of working with a designer. Today, the employee did the same and even added people stand behind you and try to say theyre on the same account to make an excuse why he was asking her so many questions about the designer. Umm, no they dont. At least not to a point where it is a serious issue. Also, there was no one behind her today. He also demanded to take her phone to see the info himself. It doesnt happen at other Pottery Barns, just this one. So its not a company policy. Just poor employees. Not sure if its because my wife has a slight accent, but something to consider.
