        I have been a multiple account holder at Wells Fargo for over 35 years. I wanted to open an account for my 17 year old son. They don't answer the phone at any branch in Santa Barbara (I tried four) area. They can't do it online. I have to make an appointment 20 days from now. I called the 800 number and after muddling through one of the worst call center experiences, I was told there were no options other than to wait for an appointment. I asked to speak to a branch manager and that option did not exist. Please do yourself a favor and find a bank that actually cares. Maybe if revenues and account holders go down enough it will match the staffing in WF branches enough to allow people to make reasonable appointments and wait less in lines. In the interim, we will be going to another bank.
