Alvarez Automotive Repair and Smog

My trusty old GMC truck which I need for work suddenly lost power and broke down on the road last week. Had it towed to Alvarez just before closing time. By the end of the next day it was home with a new fuel pump and running great. Galvan offered me options and stayed late so I could pick it up after work. I am grateful for the speedy and high quality service.

Gaspar and his mechanics are honest, fair, and I enjoy coming here. My Dad goes here too. And he advised it was good. We bought a used Honda form them for myself and a used Toyota for my sister. My Dad has this beater of a car but doesn't want to let it go. Somehow they keep it running! A truly honest and fair mechanic. I would not trust my car with anybody else. If honesty, fair prices, and excellent customer service mean something to you - then this is the place for you.

My car recently needed to get a smog check done so I went to this place. I have not been here before. I was able to get an appointment fairly easily and they got the work done. I think the price was reasonable and they did the work in a timely manner. They send the info to the DMV, so once the job was complete I was good to go. I would come back here if I ever needed to get another smog check. The are located on N Milpas across the street from Rusty's Service: Auto emissions testing
