Outstanding service and advisor! I recently had my first experience with the service department at Marin Subaru. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. My Service Advisor Victoria was outstanding! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond. I really felt taken care of. I highly recommend this business! Great experience! Will definitely be coming back.

Hans was exactly what you want in a car salesman: helpful but not pushy, a good listener, willing to help as much as the job allows, and with enough obvious integrity that you can lay all your cards on the table and not worry about them being used against you. Probably the only person I've ever met that I enjoyed handing a five-figure check to...and felt it was a fair deal for all parties.

Wouldve given zero-star if possible. One of my worst and strangest customer service experience ever (or non-experience to be precise). My family and I went shopping for a new car and Subaru was one of our top choices. We walked into the San Rafael sales office on a Friday afternoon, stood there for 5 minutes and no one even bothered to say hi and ask what we needed. And its not like no one saw us. There were a few staff going in and out, a couple were at their desks and one was with another customer. Finally I went up to the one whos running around and asked if anyone is available to help. His answer was yeah we are a bit swamped today. I grabbed another one, who then went to one of the staff sitting at the desk (whos not with a customer), but neither came back to us. After another five minutes of just standing there, we left. A couple hours later, we bought a new car at Volvo a few shops down the road. I can understand that when you walk into a dealership without an appointment you may not get served right away and we would be totally fine if they told us to wait or to make an appointment to come back. But to be completely ignored like this when youre preparing to spend money on a new car was just strange. Maybe everyone has already hit their sales target for the year? For the record we also went to Lexus next door and though they were quite busy as well we were greeted by someone right away who told us one of their sales staff would be with us as soon as theyre done with the previous customer. I thought that was standard customer service protocol but apparently not every dealership operates the same way.
