The women that attended us was upset because we didnt give the store a call ahead of time to let her know we were on our way. She said they do not allow store pick ups after 5pm and to come back tomorrow. I had to advocate for myself and let her know that the instructions did not disclose that we needed to call before hand and it did not state that we needed to pick up the order before 5pm. I told her that I do not live close by and cannot easily stop by tomorrow. She responded with yes we will hope you would call. Unfortunately I cannot read employees minds with what they hope I do. She said she was going to talk to her colleague to see if she can help me. I even notified her that it is okay if it takes a while to receive the order. Very disappointing experience. I was not expecting to get treated so poorly. FYI I picked up the order around 5:40pm. I could understand the attitude if I was picking up the order right before they closed. The way she treated me discourages me from placing any orders from pottery barn in the future.

Misleading sales team and poor customer service. The team informed us if we ordered a specific color in stock our order would come in 6 weeks. After completing the order we found out there was a 4 month (or more) delay. When we spoke to customer service they were unsympathetic and had no concern with the delay. They were reluctant to give a refund and refused to let us speak to a supervisor. If you plan to order anything note that it will likely show up months after quoted delivery and they may deny a refund.

Excellent service. The staff greeted us upon entry. They helped my wife find her order immediately. Friendly and professional.
