The center recently brought on a new Director who has redone the preschool interior,  brought in new enriched play based and enriching curriculum to this already fantastic childcare center. And the teachers are warm and caring and love to teach. Please check this child care center with low ratios for children to teacher.

First School came highly recommended by many of our neighbors whose kids attended it and it is leaving up to the expectation. Our daughter is bilingual and was not fully potty-trained when she enrolled but those were not issues, she thrives at First School. The teachers care for the children, fostering a warm, loving environment where the kids learn through play and have fun together in all sorts of activities. The facilities are big and well maintained, there is a lot of outdoor space, the location in Downtown Palo Alto is super convenient, and is it very reasonably priced. Our family loves First School.

I really like First School. My son went to First School for a year. The teachers and staffs are so warm and kind with love. They teach kids drawing, art, numbers, letters, and so on. There are many outdoor playing times and a lot of activities. For holidays as Halloween and Christmas, there is a lot of event or something.My son had a very great time. I'm sure he became stronger and smarter here.

Both our boys attended First School. It is an amazing play-based preschool, with empathetic, fun teachers. There was no problem keeping up with their peers once they got into PAUSD. I loved the art they did - lots of pieces based on hand or footprints, which is so nice to have but tough to get around to at home.

First school is amazing!! I want my daughter to stay enrolled forever!! They offer play based learning which has in turn helped my daughter grow leaps and bounds in just one year. She started at 2.5 and is really playing at the 4 year old level because of their kindness, support and one-on-one mentoring. I love that this is also a mixed age class as it has helped in her growth. The parents are also great as they are all actively involved in the parades and school events. I cannot say enough amazing things about the fabulous teachers. Micaela, Daniela and Alyssa are STARS and we are so lucky to be a part of this school. I tell people how the ratio is 5-1 max and they are stunned; this has proven to really help my daughter excel. I have toured other preschools in an attempt to find a kindergarten for her in a few years and they are stiff, over academic and the ratio is not conducive to a supportive learning environment. FIRST SCHOOL IS THE BEST!!
