Mi Casita de Español Preschool

Amazing preschool! Fantastic director Amor, she has 3 kids on her own and knows all about them. Kids are outdoors all day long, keeps them healthy, moving, gives them personal space. The garden has shade and amazing decorations and many small corners to play. My daughter started to speak and like! Spanish in 2.5 months after being there. Paradise garden for kids with attentive maestras.

This is my youngest last week at Mi Casita de Espaol and I realized it might be helpful for others to hear mi sincere love appreciation for this place. We started with my eldest in 2017 and have been part of this community since. Mi Casita has not been a preschool it has been a safe, fun second family where my kids spend several hours being loved, taught and having fun. For Amor, the owner and active teacher, this is truly a labor of love. She is constantly striving to improve, to grow and to figure out more ways to teach, to create the type of safe space where the kids can stretch their imagination and their skills. I can, without any reservations, say she has grown the program in an impressive way since 2017. But it has not lost what I was searching for when we first enrolled- a place where my girls felt loved. And where they could have Spanish be part of their lives in multiple ways everyday. I am so so grateful to mi casita for surrounding my eldest with love when I was in the hospital giving birth to my second, for navigating COVID with us as a community, for making my youngest preschool graduation the most beautiful day I could have imagined for her - among other countless memories. I truly am so grateful. If you a place for your preschooler that is Spanish immersion, that is fun, creative and where the kids will be surrounded by loving teachers this is it. Mil gracias Amor, Sirly y todas las maestras que han tocado la vida de mis hijas. Nos vemos pronto!

It was during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, that we heard about Mi Casita Espanol (MCE). Right from the start we were impressed by the school's COVID-19 protocols; the 100% outdoor concept made us feel confident and we decided to enroll our son. It is such a wonderful place, located in a beautiful backyard of a house, equipped with lots of stimulating and attractive toys, mostly hand crafted incl opportunities for water & sand play. There is even a real bunny hopping across the garden! It is a place full of love, creativity and play based learning. Since the beginning our son keeps going to school with joy, singing Spanish songs at home, being proud of understanding a language we don't speak at home and learning for life in a fun and well balanced way. We admire our son's countless art pieces he brings home from school. We feel the pride and passion the teachers have for their daily work with the kids and we see our son growing and progressing in his development day by day.Thank you, MCE and especially Maestra Amor, for creating such a magical and professional environment. This is a long overdue review of a wonderful school. We speak Spanish at home but I want to make sure my daughter has a very solid foundation in spanish to help ensure she is bilingual. I can tell that my daughter's spanish has definitey improved and I know she feels loved. This is play based program which is exactly what I was hoping for AND there is an emphasis on Mexican culture, which is even more perfect for us. Overall, we are so happy with Mi Casita!

What a wonderful finding in Palo Alto! Mi Casita de Español is a beautiful small preschool where all you see is love everywhere. The teachers are sweet and caring and kids are simply happy. The families are also wonderful... it's just a happy place! Since day one my 3YO felt like home all the kids greeted him like he was part of the family and immediately included him in their games. He learnt a lot of Spanish and grew great confidence.
