This has to be one of my best finds. I've stayed three times at The Willows and this place alone makes me want to go back to Palm Springs time and again. The location, 400m from the Art Museum, is so central and yet so quiet. The rooms are all comfortable, spacious and of a high standard. The fixed breakfast offering is a sheer delight. The staff are all relaxed and friendly. The grounds are filled with flowers and birdsong. The Willows doesn't have too many rooms so it is always peaceful. In the evening they have complimentary wine and snacks which creates a friendly atmosphere and encourages interaction with other guests. 6 stars!

We just spent our 50th anniversary at the Willows. We had spent last years anniversary at the Willows, and we enjoyed it so much we wanted to return. The Willows is a bucket list level place to enjoy, having so much history that its almost hard to soak it all in. We were in the Rose room, and it was more than worth it. Thanks to Nicole, Grace and Mia for making our stay so great and so much fun.

We spent two nights at TWI, and here's our assessment. Providing itemized scores for different categories: Value for Money: Overrated; our experience wasn't as positive as others'. We give it 2.5 stars. Service: Inconsistent, depending on the innkeeper's moodhit or miss. Deserves only 2.5 stars. Functionality: Obsolete tub, shower, and a refrigerator in the bathroom. Wardrobe makes a machine gun sound, and a disruptive smoke detector incident. Efficiency rates 2 stars. Social Skills/Etiquettes: The innkeeper blamed us for a middle-of-the-night smoke detector incident without an apology, earning them 2 stars. The other innkeeper had a condescending attitude. In conclusion, The Willows Inn is not worth the high cost; historical appeal alone won't justify it. We don't recommend it at these prices; it should ideally be priced around $350 per night based on our experience.
