Exotic Dreams Resort Hotel

We recently visited EDR and unfortunately the facility and in the rooms was never cleaned once, same condoms on floors for 2 days, no clean sheets for rooms or towels for pool, no one to assist at night and the next night and the lady over night the following night was so unprofessional and if not mistaken a former employee at a resort we attend in DHS that we recognize her. Unfortunately we will never return. I'm not the only one with complaints I'm just the only one who leaves reviews when dissatisfied. Cleanliness is key, our first experience was nothing like our 2nd. Jacuzzi was cold and so dirty it was drained attempted to get help but yet again advised jacuzzi is working. In fact not. Any hotel has 24 hour concierge or help and a resort as such should have a towel boy or employee cleaning or assisting 24/7. I lost my charger cord and when pulling back dresser there were roaches, trash and if you want to collect such high amounts for overnight members I suggest you pay your maids more of our money. My husband and I attended EDR this past Friday-Monday for super bowl weekend. This was our first experience at an establishment like this so we did not know what to expect. Anna was sooo friendly, helpful and accommodating. She was working nonstop the entire time and really made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. The other staff was great as well. It does need some updating, you can tell it is an older building, but the playrooms were nice and the jacuzzis and pool were the perfect temperature. Our tv stopped working due to weather and Anna upgraded us with a suite and it was amazing. We met very friendly couples and the whole experience was a 10/10. To add to it all, there are two cats, one named Taz and if you like cats, he was a highlight of my stay. So thank you Anna for everything, we will be definitely coming back!! Overall, terrific place with lots of space and decent rooms. The rooms are a little old and could use a blanket -- there is a small throw blanket on the bed, not big enough for two. Also, they say that they offer continental breakfast but they really didn't -- not even coffee. I know it is off-season and everything, but ...coffee, at least! Also, if you want to make your own food at all, get the full kitchenette as the regular room had a microwave and a small fridge but no dishes or utensils at all and no where to put anything! Rooms: Basic but ok. Good bed.
