What a great place for relaxing by the pool and unwinding! The reception staff were wonderful! So friendly so helpful. The pool beautiful the drinks wonderful. Only recommendation is to add a coffee tea cart in the room so guess can enjoy before wandering out for their wonderful continental breakfast..

We came to celebrate our engagement, and decided to try Yara because our favorite hotel in the nearby area was booked and because of the reviews. Yara was fine, but not a place to celebrate a special occasion (unless youre going for the Insta) and not any better than other hotels in Palm Springs offering the same or lower prices. Yaras property is tiny, so its a place that requires an understood social contract where everyone is on their most respectful behavior. There was one couple that thought it was ok to talk loudly on the phone by the pool all day (which is right on top of nearly all the rooms), take up 5 chairs for two people and their dog (there are hardly enough chairs to seat everyone staying at the hotel as it is) and no one bothered to say anything. A different couple with a dog had a very territorial dog that growled at other guests for literally no reason. Again, no vibe enforcement. When we checked in, the woman at the lobby said that we could request room service daily (as is table stakes and standard at hotels), but then rolled her eyes at me when I politely confirmed that we would love to have room service daily and said well youll have to ask the cleaning staff in the morning and they may not have time to get to you. Daily breakfast was fine, but again have experienced better in the area for the same or better nightly prices. Very few parking spaces relative to the number of rooms. Yara was fine and has a pretty property. If you can get rare alone time there, better (I will say some alone time at the fire pit was nice). We had nothing to rave about and expected more for the price, particularly since we came to celebrate a special time in our lives.

Our stay at Yara was incredibly relaxing. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and eager to help with any questions we had. The grounds were clean and well kept as well as the rooms. The coffee and breakfast provided we a perfect touch to our mornings. Would highly recommend.
