We arrived to the beautiful house and were greeted by John who made checking in and getting settled a breeze. He was very helpful and gave us suggestions for activities and great local restaurants and made himself available throughout our stay. Walking into the spectacular residence I was overwhelmed by the spacious great room which completely opens up to the pool, the extensive grass, and most impressively, the phenomenal view of the mountains! The pictures did not do it justice!! The feeling of indoor/ outdoor living is perfect. The home was created with a fine eye for detail. Everywhere you look are authentic touches from the vintage light fixtures to the incredible wood craftsmanship to the accent decor to the beautiful vibrant textiles. The kitchen is a cooks dream. My friends and I enjoyed cooking, laughing, listening to music, and eating with a lovely glass of wine in the evenings in the elegantly lit kitchen. In the mornings we could look out upon the orchard where we had just picked our daily fruit from while juicing!! The bedrooms all had a warm comfortable feel while being designed and styled perfectly. The beds with crisp fresh linens were incredibly comfortable. With the blackout curtains and A/C I slept like a baby. Each room had its own unique bathroom with custom exquisite tileIt was impossible to pick my favorite! I will have to experience another room on my next visit!! Overall this magnificent home made us feel as if we were staying in a perfectly new yet seemingly back in time Santa Barbara style hacienda. We all enjoyed the beautiful grounds and games of tennis. It was the perfect luxurious getaway with my girlfriends. I cant wait to return February of next year!
