Matt Bradford (Owner) is highly unprofessional.  He is short tempered, defensive, has poor communication & follow up and is extremely challenging to work with.He managed a property for me and my grandmother and used unlicensed workers to service the property.  He also allowed the tenants to make permanent changes within the house, along with conducting other work without permission.  An unapproved invoice was scribbled on a piece of paper and sent to me for payment.  Removing trash from property and fixing a piece of glass in the oven (which was never broken prior) I was billed $190.  This price was never discussed or approved.Matt also stated twice in the short time of me working with him (after my grandmother passed away approximately one year ago)  that I should find a new property manager.  If you inspect work prior to payment, ask questions about any concerns you see or work remaining, Matt becomes angry.  Home Owners and tenants BEWARE!

Custom Property have been our property Managers for 11 years. If you are an owner their management fees are very reasonable. As a military family we are confident they will take good care of our home. Matt always provides a quick response and lets me know as soon as there are maintenance issues that I need to approve. I have, and will continue to recommend Custom Property to my friends and colleagues.

I have used Custom Property many times over many years with multiple properties. Never disappointed in their ability to find qualified renters. Outstanding help in coordinating between renters ensuring that inspections, required repairs, and move in and move out of renters is done with minimal fuss. Last summer Matt and team ensured not a single day of rent was lost, moved folks in and out, scheduled repairs, and the house was in Pacific  Beach! And finally you can't beat the fee, most other property management companies charge a lot more for a lot less work. I will continue to use them and recommend Custom Property to all my friends.Wanted to update my review.  The great work and support Matt and his team provides continues. We recently turned over my rental house and Matt handled it all.
