        The location wasn't great due to the noise from it being by the highway. The room was okay, they are dated. Our a/c didn't work so that was unfortunate, but I didn't call or inform anyone, so that is on me.

        Continues to be our favorite place in Marin. We found out this stay that they also have laundry facilities for guests to use , which is a huge plus when you have small children. We love it here. Thanks Inn Marin

        Super let down, disgusted and disappointed with this place after seeing the reviews and the lovely pictures of the area. Alas, here is my short 2 hours experience. When I first arrived, the front lobby wasn't so clearly marked so hard to find entrance. More of a motel type setting. The parking lot was pretty terrible with potholes and cracks everywhere. Checked in and checked out less than 2 hours later due to a filthy room. Had something that looked like a blood spot on the mattress, seams around mattress was filthy, the platform the bed was on had filth all around the crevice. Cobweb on the door hinge. I didn't even want to sit on anything while emailing work to say I would be checking out and finding a more reputable hotel. This was after 10pm and I had already been traveling all day. The receptionist at the front desk was very quiet on check in and check out. She didn't seem surprised or even questioned why I came back so soon to check out. Makes me feel like she gets this constantly, I'm not sure. I was surprised myself by not being questioned though. I didn't even want to take another room even if she had offered because if the first room could be this bad, I wouldn't trust another room to be any better.

        The rooms are clean, up to date with current technology and smart tv , which is great when you have kids. The shower never runs out of hot water , individual parking spaces in front of the units is a plus! We liked finding this hidden gem in Novato. they serve a great free breakfast with a wide selection of items.
