I went in tonight about a 1/2 hpur prior to closing with a question about my 30 year old Yakima cargo basket and how to attach it to my 2020 Kia Telluride crossbars. Aaron was extremely helpful in finding a way do accomplish it. He found older parts in a storage area (since the news attachments wont work) and made sure they fit my crossbars. He was very nice and helpful. It was wonderful experience and amazing customer service. He was thinking outside the box to help. Thank you!

My wife and I were visiting from out of town and stopped by to purchase a few items. The girl who rang us up, I think her name was Rachel, was very pushy to the point of rudeness about us becoming REI members. We had to keep telling her, "no we don't have an REI where we're from, no thank you." She wouldn't take no for an answer and copped an attitude with us, when we just wanted her to ring up our purchase so we could be on our way. She seemed offended when we declined to sign up, and continued to push and push. Nice store and merchandise but 2/5 because she really soured our experience there. I changed my review the next day from 2/5 to 1/5 because there was a safety tag left on my daughters swimsuit. We had a remarkably bad experience at this REI store.

REI surpassed expectations during my first venture there. Even though I dont identify as outdoorsy, browsing through every product kept me engaged. Their expertise extends from hiking gear to camping and bikes. My initial reason for walking into the store was to check out their bikes for my son. It turns out that they have their own brand, which is pretty cool, and if you're a member, you receive additional discounts. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful; They informed of us a Memorial Day sale which I am definitely coming back for. I caught my eyes on their Yeti Coolers, camping chairs and snacks. I could spend forever in there.
