Mar Vista Montessori & Infant Care Center

Mar Vista Montessori is the best preschool out there ! I was a teacher here for almost 10 years and out of the other preschools I've worked at nothing compares to this school. From the staff to the awesome community of parents this school feels like home to me. I can't stress enough how amazing the school is and I just want to say thank you again to Ms. Evelin, Ms. Chantal and Ms. Gracie for everything they have done for me, they are the nicest people you'll ever meet :)

I love this place so so much. Chantal and Evelyn, and the entire staff are so warm and welcoming. You can tell how much they care about our children. This place is awesome, and I feel so grateful to be a part of the MVM family. Truly a blessing and so thankful to have found this gem. I consider myself a picky mama, and want the best for my first born baby. This place checked all the boxes and gave me and my husband all the feels.  thank you MVM!

This little school is such a life saver . It is a safe place to send your little ones . My 2 year old loved her teachers and so did I . We had the most positive experience. This was back in 2015 now I am sending my 3 year old and staff continues to go above and beyond to accommodate and eases any concerns I had.I really love the indoor playground and all the equipment they have for the kids. They also have an outdoor playground too. All the classrooms are decorated in themes and super cute. The school is big enough where all the children have enough space to run around and socially distant themselves if need be its well ventilated too which is super important during these times.

MVM has been a safe place for my children to flourish since 2016. We started in the infant room with my oldest and throughout my daughters time there, she has been loved by the teachers/staff, they have helped shaped her into to a great kid, she's made friends, and she is prepared for her next journey: Kindergarten. The Montessori teaching method was a fit for her and she has loved it there. My son also started in the infant room and loves it there. He's a happy, smart guy, who's a helper and loves his teachers. The facility isn't the fanciest of places however the outdoor gym is a great shaded play space, they utilize outside play when the weather permitting, and class work is always displayed around in the classroom.Director: Chantal is a responsive lovely human. She's understanding, nurturing, and caring about the parents and children's experience at MVM. She has great relationships with her teachers and during the pandemic has made the necessary changes to keep the children/staff safe. COVID: The school did a good job navigating a wild 2020. They were in constant contact with child services, and had up to date information. They upped their cleaning, re-arranged classrooms to create different pods, switched up staffing to ensure kids were taken care of. We had a great experience with MVM.

Both of my kiddos went here, and my youngest is now on their way to TK, our family is so grateful for the nurturing and professional care that was provided to our little ones in their formative years leading up to their transition into elementary.  This is not a small, home daycare environment, but we weren't looking for that and wanted a reliable, reputable place where they could thrive growing confidently and socially, meeting milestones and making friends, all which they have absolutely done. Art projects, Montessori work, parent teacher sessions, open houses, potty training celebrations, family projects, school concerts, science experiments, seasonal activities--my kids loved looking forward to each week of thoughtful and exciting curriculum and activities, some new, some revisited.This last year has been a challenge for everyone to say the least but working in healthcare, we were grateful to have MVM operating with very diligent protocols, but taking the time to explain and inform parents and gently and sweetly educate and remind the little ones how all these new things, masks and sanitizer and distancing work.  MVM is a gem, a godsend, and we are sad to go but we'll always have the fondest of memories.
