BEWARE: I am Absolutely appalled by the unprofessional and inappropriate way Greystar and Esther have handled our departure from The Desmond. We lived in this building for years (2019-2023) and always paid on time including DURING THE PANDEMIC, we were respectful neighbors, and lived in TWO units. We also decided to upgrade from 1bd (Unit 424) to a 2bd (Unit 329) in 2022 which was double the rent. BUT when we choose to move out of the building all together we were smacked with a collections notice for our 1bd unit 424! We had already lived in our 2bd for over a year and Esther nor Greystar had ever in that time given us notice of ANY unpaid debts. Our ledgers were ZEROED out. Me and my husband are now dealing with an investigation of this mysterious and now usury debt from Columbia Debt Recovery also known as Genesis. Please google this company they work for Greystar and have many claims against them. I would look at other properties since their disorganization and frankly, apathetic nature to this whole ordeal is what you will have to deal with if you move in.
