image I thought moving to a luxury building would be a treat for myself. A space to feel relaxed but its been the exact opposite. Literally no words to describe how disappointed I am in this entire experience. Whoever replies to poor reviews on Google, please dont bother to reply that I should call or email your team. They do not respond unless chased down across all channels, multiple times and even then its mostly non responsive or passing responsibility to someone else.

image Sentral Apartments Retaliation. The Worst 4 Months of My Life. Unit 707 had no ventilation ,no windows that could open,every night it would become a gas chamber because it sat on 6 floors of parking garage. Rodents in the HVAC vents, a broken fresh air blower and an exploding rodent mite infestation. Managers Danielle Abel and Valerie Herrera and all the staff did nothing but gaslight me. They refused to transfer me and had 43 units available. I moved out at my own expense. The unit was uninhabitable and because I demanded clean ventilated breathable air they declared war on me. Their deliberate misconduct cost me $45,000. Gross Negligence, Retaliation, Constructive Eviction,Fraud, Manipulation of test results, Defamation, and Harrassment were perpetrated by Sentral Management , owned by Iconiq Capital and Highgate Hospitality . They will be held accountable . Their game plan when a tenant is in a hazard and fights their idiotic policies gaslighting is to DENY,DISCREDIT THE TENANT, CHANGE THE NARRATIVE, COMMIT FRAUD, AND TO DEFAME THE TENANT , AND FINANCIALLY DESTROY THE TENANT WITH FRAUDULENT FINAL ACCOUNTING. Danielle Abel is now calling me a psychopath , claiming I was stalking her and Valerie Herrera for months, and she threatened me on Facebook Messenger that if I walk past the building she will ruin me.
This is the most outrageous behavior from a corporate landlord who thinks they can trample tenants rights and safety codes with impunity by shielding themselves with their corporate policies.
If you are thinking of moving here or to any Sentral property in their portfolio of failed building know that they are seriously broke and desperate . There is no level to which they wont stoop.
No tenant should have to suffer what they put me thru and are still aggressively trying to damage me.

Worse rental application process experience.
The leasing agent told us after we signed and paid the deposit- she will follow up with details the next day.
2 weeks went by and we didnt hear anything. Kept calling the office every day saying: Just wait until tomorrow.
Finally we was given the mangers email. He told us to provide a specific document and we will 100% get approved.
The next day; we received a call from the leasing agent saying that the application still not reached satisfaction. At that point we had paid over $2.700(deposit + guarantors). I explained to her that they putting us in a challenging position, as we was informed by the manger that the approval will be there shortly. Based on that information we cancelled all other tours/application and already send our notice to where we currently was residing.
She said she will send us an email the same night and give us a call with updates the next morning. Nothing. Two days later we still hadnt heard from her (again.)
We met up at the property. Having us wait again, we pushed and eventually a different leasing agent told us more documentation is needed even after the manger said everything is in order the approval will be issued.
At this point we requested a refund. Same thing over again! Told they will come with updates regarding the refund the next day but our emails remained unanswered- until our final follow up stating that we will be taking lawful actions. It was obvious that racial discrimination played a major role in this appalling application process. The refunds have been issued, but we wouldnt want anyone else experience disrespect and time abuse in such degree.

image The building is very nice, however I am having a very bad experience in which I feel discriminated against and I feel that it is being unfair. The leasing agent who helped me is very good and I feel very grateful to him however the leasing manager, Andrew, I feel is not handling my process in a professional manner.
On Tuesday, March 26, I went to take a tour and I loved the department, I was determined to apply, however after finishing and when I was about to apply, they told me that I couldn't yet because there was someone before me, which I understood because it's normal! The next day they called me to say that the person who was interested had chosen another building so the unit I wanted was available. I immediately went and at that same moment I applied, paid my holding deposit and my application fee! I was waiting and I didn't have any response for a few days so I went on Saturday and they were busy so on SUNDAY I emailed Andrew again and he replied that since I didn't have my tax return I couldn't qualify and good luck in my search of building.
(Without giving me a chance to introduce him or anything, he already wanted to send me to see another building)
but on the website it was still PENDING
I immediately asked my attorney/accountant to help me with that. And on Monday he sent it to me and I immediately forwarded it to Andrew. Obviously I had NO answer so I had to go to the building at that time they checked and my agent who is fabulous (Chlouis) called me and told me that that would be perfect but that the unit is no longer available. That I can choose another unit at 600 USD more expensive
I answered everything immediately.
At that time I sent Andrew an email saying that it was not right and my application was still in PROCESS. However, I have not received any response. I told him that in case there was u. Error and they rented my unit and gave me the option of another one in the same conditions for which I already APPLIED AND PAID HOLDING DEPOSIT.
Until now I have not received a response, I will keep you informed!
It makes me very sad because the building is very beautiful! However, playing with people is not right.
P.S. Ignoring is not the solution when there are people who happily apply and want to have sentral as their home! Human quality must improve

image The worst management I have ever met. The whole leasing office team are irresponsible and its impossible to call them. My move in date was supposed to be 20 of December and after millions of calls and emails they called me at 27 of December and denied it. They had a problem with their system after I applied for an apartment they transferred another resident to the same apartment and it was easier for them to waste time and deny an application. I was waiting for my deposit for almost 3 months and thats after everyday calls and emails. Thanks God my application was denied because I would never live in a building where you cannot even reach anyone except the front desk who just takes your number for call backs. Never met such irresponsible people. For those who are interested I can send all the emails and screenshots.
