Woori America Bank - Irvine Branch

Based on personal experience, I highly recommend this. Use another bank. 1. It is very inconvenient because you have to call the bank every time you make a payment of more than $1,000. You must call your bank whenever you spend a large amount of money, such as airline tickets, lodging, or daycare. I was planning to spend on travel and lodging over the weekend, so I requested approval for payment of more than $1,000 in advance on Friday. They said it was approved over the phone, but I remember struggling all weekend because the payment wasn't actually made on the weekend. 2. Even if there is a very temporary lack of balance, a fee of $35 will be charged immediately. As my return home was imminent, I tried to withdraw my entire balance, but the bank requested that I maintain a balance of over $100, saying that I needed to maintain my performance. I did that, and after that, an unexpected automatic payment occurred, resulting in a balance shortage of about -$50. If the bank had notified me in advance, they would have replenished it quickly, but they said that there was an insufficient balance and that they would immediately charge a $35 fee. Then, they called around 9:30 a.m. and asked them to come within 12 o'clock and cover the balance fee of $35. This is a bank that does not consider customer convenience at all.

Some of the staff here have pretty much the lowest work ethic. They are insensitive to privacy and handle customer data poorly and insecurely. Their communication is also subpar that there are just ALWAYS some kind of misunderstanding, and I assure you they will blame it on the customer. I don't know why someone would deal with a bank like this, unless you speak only Korean

The 1 star review below is not a genuine review. They are using a past employee's name to disparage that person and the company. The fact that they created an account using another person's name speaks volumes about how small and minimal they are as a person. How sad and lonely you must be to do such a thing with too much time on your hands! If you wish to debate this, feel free to contact me and we can settle it.
