The Vurpillat

I stayed at The Vurpillat a couple weeks ago and I was so pleased! The location is absolutely perfect and the customer service was excellent! The room was comfortable and had a little ocean view out of the kitchen window. While parking isn't at the hotel, the pass they give makes it so easy to park on the street. I cannot wait to visit again to show my daughter the gem I discovered! Walkability: The beach is literally out the back door and all the shops, bars and restaurants are a 3-5 minute walk away. The bike/walking path makes it so smooth to get around. I can't believe I never knew how great hermosa beach was!

Stayed at Vurpillat for one night while in town for a concert. We were very happy we made the choice to stay here. Right on the water, close to shops and restaurants and the staff was very helpful and personable. The room had character, was clean, and had everything we needed. I hope to stay here again!

Barely a step above a hostel. Great location and rooms but theres people who live in the apartment hotel and make their own renovations during the early mornings. Very loud and inconsiderate. Nicole did nothing to help being payment was already made. Wanted to love it here enough to extend but not worth it at all. Noteworthy details: Very loud banging early mornings. Paper thin walls.

We are the couple with a small dog who just stayed in this hotel for one night. It was a great of warm hospitality and all the time readiness to help or consult us on any questions we have. They gave us a parking permit for the street parking. All the necessities are there. Best location near to the beach. We will be happy to stay here next time.
