It was not that great this time. We went there to watch super bloom of this season. But unfortunately we could not see much of the bloom this time. Last year was amazing.

Great park and out of the wind mostly. Which was a real blessing! Birds chirping. Scenic trees. Great.

Dog-friendliness: The HUGE lawn area is more like an unfenced dog park. Most dogs were off leash but none caused problems.

Beautiful overlook with rocks, evergreens, views of the water and plenty of places to sit for a break or lunch. A good half point for many hikes.
