I do not think that Paul should be fired or reprimanded, I just think he needs education on how to be of better service to the patient and to not come off as arrogant. My issue is that I went in seeking antibiotics since I have been sick for two weeks and am unable to get better with taking over the counter medication, I am not a person who takes medicine lightly. I havent taken an antibiotic in 7+ years, I only asked for antibiotics since my son who has the same cold as I do was just prescribed antibiotics by his doctor. She suggested I see a doctor and that I may need antibiotics as well, she did not evaluate me just suggested I see a doctor. I expressed this to Paul and immediately he became arrogant and controversial about my childs doctors opinion why didnt she prescribe you them then? I explained shes not my doctor she can still prescribe you if she really thought you needed them, any doctor can prescribe anyone anything I then explained we have different insurances. The whole time his tone was arrogant and at this point I automatically knew he was going to do the opposite of what this doctor suggested, he said Ill evaluate you and see if you need them and sure enough he didnt think I needed it. I wouldnt have minded his opinion and diagnosis as much if I felt that it was genuine and not just in spite of what another doctor had recommended. My childs doctor has an actual phd and works for a very prominent Medical Facility (Providence), this guy is a physicians assistant not a doctor and though he is more educated than I am in this field I think he shouldnt be so arrogant and couldve tried to listen more to what I had to say and what an actual doctor was telling me. Thats the issue when you go to places like this, multiple times I have been diagnosed by physicians assistants only to get a different diagnosis by an actual doctor. Ive been sick for two whole weeks, each day is different I may be really sick with fever, chills and aches one day and the next I have just the congestion, and cough with green phlegm. My girlfriend who has now the same cold as my son and I went to her primary care doctor today and guess what, he prescribed her antibiotics and shes 38 weeks pregnant! I unfortunately have different insurance than her and my son, I have government insurance so seeing my primary doctor can be a challenge to get an appointment. I left and am seeking a second opinion from a telehealth doctor today. Please do better for your patients, just because we cant afford the best healthcare doesnt mean we should be seen by ill equipped medical professionals.

The staff is extremely friendly and the space is very clean. I love how personable it is. I feel very taken care of and listened to regarding my ailments. This is my go to place for emergent medical care!

In the past I have had great experiences with this clinic but today I was seen by Paige Ostlund and her bedside manner was rude and condescending. I came in due to issues with Asthma and she ordered a shot of steroids which can lower your immune system even if it helps with inflammation. However, when I asked if I could have a note for work she asked, "What do you do?" If she was knowledgeable in the way such a shot of steroids can affect you she would acknowledge that no matter what my job may be, I will be further immunocompromised if I am already feeling ill. I suspect I have a bronchial infection and when I asked if she was giving me antibiotics she said no because she was giving me an inhaler prescription. I feel like she was rude even in the way she said, "I am only giving you two days," when asking for a doctor's note. Mind you...I am a teacher which means I will be around people and yes...asking for a doctor's note was completely valid. At no time did she smile or act friendly. However, with a previous patient I heard her laughing and sounding kind so I am extremely disappointed with my visit today.
