Rude and not helpful, I do not recommend this branch.

Understaffed. Don't make any appointments at or later than 3pm at this branch, or you will be asked to leave and come back on another day. I had an appointment at 3:30pm and arrived at around 3. After 45 minutes wait, I was told that they were not able to help me because they close at 4 and there's not enough time to finish my appointment (even without asking what I need help with). Have to make another appointment on the next day.

A friendly, competent, and customer oriented branch of "Bank of America" - - once you are inside. The bank-tellers and workers make more than up for the rough and sketchy block they got assigned to by higher-ups and city planning. Helpful, friendly, clean (inside). Outside: Bank customer's personal safety does not seem a priority to Bank of America HQ or Berkeley city planning. PS.: It feels like an outpost in the Wild West there

Even though they were understaffed and one of their main tellers was running late, the guy and the woman at the counter were so incredibly nice and patient. Even though I didn't have an appointment, they managed to squeeze me in to speak with someone.

Understaffed, often a line of 4+ people and only one working teller. But Bouchra is awesome!
