The Meridian at Walnut Creek

This place is really the worst!! We live here right now. We have been getting the run around from management for the last several months on so many repairs and maintenance issues!! Nothing is ever addressed and they treat renters very unfairly. Everything takes months to be fixed!! Bugs are so bad!! I would only live here if you are prepared to have to fix your own issues on the property that you don't own!! Renters beware.

This complex is really bad. My girlfriend and I have lived here for under a year and it was a big mistake moving in. No issues are ever resolved and management is not active in fixing issues. Our gates have been busted for several months and they haven't done anything about them. My buddy asked for a lower rent rate since things weren't working and they refused. When you pay 1,600 to live in a place this isn't right.

I have lived a lot of places, had a lot of different property managers, but this is by far the worst. They lie about all kinds of things to get you to sign the lease, lock you in, and then forget about you. Gate system has not worked in over 6 months, pool is closed for weeks on end, they make you pay to have your trash picked up at your door and then don't pick it up consistently. We went over a week without having our trash picked up more than once. Place looks nice at first glance, but don't do it. You will regret it.

The Meridian was one of several "luxury" apartment complexes we looked at over the past month when deciding where to relocate. Since they had an apartment coming available quickly, we decided to secure it within 24hrs. From that point forward I experienced absolutely horrible communication from the staff. After several calls, messages, and emails daily with no reply we decided to lease elsewhere. Based on this initial lack of communication, I cannot imagine how bad it would be as a tenant locked into a lease. Very glad we decided not to lease here and I was made aware of this early on to let others know. Hopefully they can improve based on this review.
